Bridging digital software engineering, visual motion graphics, and hands-on hardware diagnostics.
Building responsive, accessible, and resilient web applications using SvelteKit, TypeScript, and modern reactive architectures with sub-50ms interaction budgets.
Crafting commercial motion graphics, title sequences, and fluid micro-interactions using After Effects.
Troubleshooting hardware issues and performing component-level diagnostics.
Designing automated hardware-software pipelines like interactive event photobooths with zero-latency shutter triggers and thermal print spools.
I’m Hio, a software engineer and motion designer with roots in component-level hardware repair.
My trajectory began on the repair bench at Autekindo: disassembling laptops, tracing dead power rails with multimeters, and soldering SMD components. That physical intimacy with hardware shapes how I engineer software: zero tolerance for bloated dependencies, zero tolerance for untested assumptions, and a relentless focus on runtime speed.
Today, I build high-performance web applications with SvelteKit, design automated photobooth capture systems, and keyframe commercial motion reels. Whether tuning a reactive state store or engineering interactive interfaces, I care about things that feel dependable, tactile, and fast.
I look for the idea and architecture behind an interface, not just standard boilerplate templates.
Spacing, states, latency budgets, and edge cases: the small things define whether software feels right.
If I don’t know how a protocol, circuit, or framework works beneath the hood, that’s what I learn next.
I finish what I start, communicate early, write verified code, and ship systems that stay reliable.
Software engineering, hardware diagnostics, organisations, and creative motion: the environments where I have learned the most.
